Senior Shoot.... Class of 2012

I know it has been a while since I posted, I have several shoots that I will update you on shortly, but today I want to give you a glimpse into last nights shoot.
I had so much fun last night with this Beautiful young lady and her mother and sister, we had such a good time.  This is only a small portion of her senior shoot, we are going to do another session next week, but since "The Great Darke County Fair" is going on I wanted to take advantage of it.
I hope you enjoy this sneak peek.

As soon as I saw this microphone, I just couldn't resist. So fun.

Spring Wedding

I had the privilege of sharing in Peter and Kellie's day and am so very thankful that they let me have just a little part in it. What a blessing to be able to capture these special moments of the day. I had such a great time, and loved working with you both. As I heard a friend say several weeks ago "I hope this was the worst day of the rest of your life". When I heard that I REALLY liked it, because yes it is such an amazing day, that you have waited for all your life, but as your relationship grows your days will get better and better. You think you are more in love than you will ever be, on that day, but 2, 5, 10 and 25 years from now you will look back and realize you had hardly any love for each other compared to what you have then.
May God truly bless your marriage.

All in the Details

I am entering a photography contest and the theme for this months contest is "All in the Details", as soon as I saw the theme, I knew what photo shoot I was going to use a picture from. I had just done our daughters 18 month pictures, and there were a few that popped in my head when I saw the theme.  I just had to decide which one of 2 I was going to pick.  I decided on this one first because I love every last detail of how God made this little girl, and secondly because she notices every detail of everything, as you can see here with her bellybutton. I just love when I ask her where it is and she shows me.

I just love that little girl
Would love you know what you think about my interpretation of the theme.

Project 52 week 10

This weeks theme was Childhood Toys. I had several ideas this week, first I was going to use a whole bunch of army men. I was going to have to go buy them, and I really didn't want to do that. Then I was going to get ALL my Cabbage Patch kids out, and then my amazing husband came up with an idea.  He suggested ATARI, and I fell in love with the idea. He went to the basement and brought up the box and I cleaned it all up and here is what we got.  I had to make sure Pac-Man, Frogger, and Space Invaders were included, those are truly Classics. Love to know what you think.

When we have a game room in the basement, I think I am going to print this for the wall.
